Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 15,1976. She was a student at a private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. After completing her high school education she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer during her junior year. She was a member of the drill and dance team. After graduating the school she attended was Northeast Louisiana University. Ward began modeling at the age of thirteen. She left school to go in New York. Her acting career began after a few years down the road. At first, in the 1970s she played an uncredited character in the show All My Children. A couple of years later, she was a part of the NBC premiertime drama for teens Malibu Shores. Her role was Meg Cummings, a virgin in Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, her movie career started with her role as Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the thriller erotica The In Crowd. In theaters the film was not a success, but it did have an initial success on cable and on DVD. Ward played a support role in Shallow Hal the following year. Alongside her direct-to-DVD roles, Ward also made many guest appearances in TV programs like Friends. In 2009she got the part of Chloe Kmet, the mother of a girl who is in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. In her private life she was married to David C. Robinson. They had a son called Cameron.
